A Good Start

Oh my gosh I can't believe it is already February. January came and left so quickly that I'm not sure where the days went. So far we have had a great start to the New Year. After the holidays the boys and I quickly got back into our Stroller Strides routine and sent daddy off to work in El Centro for two weeks. By mid-January Aaron was home and I had more help with the boys. When Aaron is gone I quickly realize how much he does to help me out. He is a great dad and wonderful husband. He supports me 100% in all of my activities between SS, Mom's Night Out and my Lia Sophia business.

The boys are growing like weeds. They have good days and bad. Riley likes to pick on his little bro and Coen loves to follow him around the house. Coen is pulling himself up on everything. I think walking is not to far off. Probably by his 1st birthday. Each day I look at the kids and try to make a mental memory of these precious moments. As I know one day they will move on without me. I do hope I'm doing a good job raising them.

Well here are the most recent shots of my lovely family and a couple from Stroller Strides. As many of you know each day begins with Stroller Strides or shall I call it my cup of coffee in the morning. It is what truly gets me moving in the morning and helps me stay on task all day long!

Until next time Cheers To Motherhood And Healthy Living!

A Wonderful Holiday

Yes, we had a wonderful holiday. Lots of presents and Christmas cheer kept us going all month long. The only thing missing was all of our family.

Riley got a Leapster from his Grandma T and a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse from Santa.
Coen got a talking teddy bear from Santa and a laugh and learn kitchen from Grandma T.
Coen was just happy crawling around playing with the paper and boxes.

In the end my children are very blessed and Aaron and I are so lucky to have two wonderful little boys.

Thankful!

Being a mom is the hardest job in the world. There are so many days I get frustrated with the little things that I'm extremely exhausted by the end of the day. I've decided that each morning I'm going to tell myself one thing that I'm thankful for. First of all I'm so lucky to have a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children. After my family my Stroller Strides business is what keeps me going. So today I'm thankful for Stroller Strides. I love seeing the moms each morning and watching their children grow. I love their dedication and the fact that they want to spend time with their children. I love that they are there to help answer questions and concerns I have as a mother. In the end Stroller Strides is a support system I could not live without.

One Trip, A Birthday and Halloween Fun

I can't believe October has come and gone. Riley turned 3, we went to Indiana and then we had a great night of Trick or Treating. I really do love October. It was so nice to see our family in Indiana along with the fall leaves. Riley loved seeing his Grandma and Granpa T and cousins Brice, Asher and Ari. But it is always nice to come home and get back into our routine. Between Stroller Strides and Riley's school activities we are very busy. Coen is growing rapidly and is almost crawling. He can sit up and loves to watch Riley. He especially loves bath time. Thats all for now. Enjoy the pictures!

I'm 30

October is always a busy time for my family. My birthday arrives in the middle of the month, then Riley's and we can't forget college football and Halloween. I have to admit that October is one of my favorite months. The year I turned the big 30. I can't believe my 20's have come and gone but I have to say I've accomplished many wonderful things over the past decade. First I married my husband, then we had Riley, next came Stroller Strides and finally to finish it off we had Coen. I'm so blessed and I can't wait to see how my life will change over the next 10 years.

LIfe Is Changing

Our days in the Marine Corps are now over. Aaron was officially out on Oct. 1st. We both can't believe how fast the time has gone but we look back and think of all of the wonderful memories we have do to the military. Aaron is still going to be reservist so he can earn his pension when he is 60. So he will drill down here in Kingsville, which means flying a few times each month. We are patiently waiting on word from Cathy Pacific but for now he has been hired as a simulator instructor.

Both of the boys continue to grow. Riley is back in school and Coen is trying some of his first foods. He is a great eater and loves sweet potato's. We are getting ready to head to Indiana for a visit. I'm dreading the plane ride but I can't wait to see my family and the fall leaves. Riley will be turning 3 on the 28th and Coen will be 6 months on the 17th. Each day we are very busy between Stroller Strides and play dates. I feel so blessed to have such an active life and look forward to the cooler months down here.

You Go Girl Fun Run and Walk

This past weekend me and the boys participated in the You Go Girl Fun Run and Walk. We actually just did the two mile walk. We had so much fun. I pushed the double stroller as fast as I could and we finished 2nd place overall and 1st place in my age group. Some of the other Stroller Strides moms joined us. Here is a great shot of us after the race.
